Description
We are seeking an innovative and energetic Web Application Developer to create proof-of-concepts that integrate disruptive technologies and revolutionary ideas into our existing online sales and service platforms. The ideal candidate is a future visionary who continually strives to develop the next big thing. This person:
- Feels accomplished when original designs are duplicated by others
- Has an entrepreneurial mindset where failure is considered a success
- Reengineers technology to make it more usable and convenient
- Follows multiple technology blogs
Responsibilities:
- Develops innovative, highly usable experiences across multiple platforms
- Influences senior management and colleagues to buy into new visions
- Works with business and technical teams to bring prototypes from concept to execution
- Quickly adapts vision based on feedback and criticism
- Organizes prototype designs so they can be handed off to development
- Summarizes architecture changes necessary to bring prototypes to market
- Requirements
- Experience designing and delivering high quality, customer facing applications
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, IIS, etc.
- Mobile UX development experience a plus
- Comfortable with rapid prototyping using HTML/JavaScript/CSS and the relevant helper libraries such as jQuery
- Familiar with a variety of user-centric design techniques
