As a Senior Application developer, you will -
·         Develop UI components of the application. 
·         Participate effectively in relevant aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) including planning, construction, testing, reviews and demonstrations. 
·         Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables.
·         Investigate and resolve application issues as needed

Qualifications:
·         3 plus years of JavaScript, HTML and CSS development experience
·         HTML5, CSS3 experience
·         JQuery or a similar framework (Dojo, Backbone, Angular, Bootstrap,etc.)
·         Rendering frameworks like JSF or Spring MVC.
·         Five to Ten years of experience in the IT industry.
·         A bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Math or Engineering.
·         Experience working in a Test Driven Development Agile Environment.

Quality Assurance Engineer--Homesite Insurance--Boston, MA

Homesite is a unique and innovative national property and casualty insurance company. Partnering with major insurance carriers and led by a management team with extensive experience, Homesite is carving out a position as a homeowners' solutions provider.
Due to growth at Homesite we are currently seeking an intelligent, analytical, energetic individual to join our IT group. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of application releases, unit test verification and system-level testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the product life-cycle from design to commercial release
  • Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, standards and processes
  • Develop test cases and collaborate in the development of automated testing scripts
  • Work with technical support and core development engineers to address product scalability, usability, reliability, functionality, and performance-related issues
Requirements
  • 3+ years related software quality assurance experience
  • 3+ years experience in software development, with work on entire product life-cycle
  • Must have Property and Casualty Insurance experience 
  • Strong technical background
  • Experienced with SQL
  • Detail-oriented, likes to solve problems, and seek many solutions before settling on the best
  • Comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies and how to adapt them to the specific needs of an organization and product set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using standard QA software tools
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technologies or Information Management
