SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Management & Policy Process Engineers will support the investigation of the strategic, operational and business needs of their assigned projects, focusing on detailed business process analysis and modeling, and the engineering of effective business process solutions.

The Process Engineers will play a lead role in supporting the activities of Core Process and Roadmap Project teams in the re-engineering and improvement of existing business processes, providing guidance, consultancy and support in the deployment of the BPT solution and the associated standards and techniques to the project teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma /GED
  • 5 or more years process improvement and change management experience
  • 5 or more years experience in an exempt level business analyst, project management or Consultant 1 role.
  • 5 or more years experience in health/dental insurance industry knowledge including data analysis, business operations, marketing, and industry issues.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in administration of performance management systems
  • A strong understanding of Highmark operations, systems, policies, procedures, and performance requirements
  • Knowledge of, and experience in the use of, Business Process Management (BPM) concepts
  • Knowledge of the functionality of all BPMS components and how they interact
  • Knowledge of process design using BPMS product specific development tools
  • Knowledge of the role and deployment of Agents/Adapters, Business Rules and KPI's.
  • Experience in application of Six Sigma Methodology
  • Experience in project management activities to include:
  1. Support and/or develop project plans, including objectives, which may involve developing test scenarios and cases, strategies, cost/benefit analysis, timeline and risk analysis.
  2. Use of various project management tools to support and communicate the plan.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certification in an established quality /process improvement methodology such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, etc.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
 
Supplies product information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arranges for business analyses of customer's business communication requirements and develops benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions that exceeds customers' requirements resulting in the development of new customers and retention of existing accounts by applying a consultative approach to Fortune 500 contacts/customers.

Organizes and implements post-sale delivery and implementation of Ricoh USA solutions at customer locations. Acts as primary point of contact for all sales paperwork.
 
Proactively develops new customer contacts, reviews leads, participates in customers' business communication planning and delivers Ricoh USA solutions' proposals as prescribed by sales management.
 
Engages in strategic planning with customer base; proactively identifies, evaluates and formulates action plans for at-risk customers.

  • Provides professional staff level support for the Corporation's Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D lines of business. 
  • Responsible for the data analysis of revenue, cost-based and risk management projects that will ensure proper alignment of disease risk with revenue, increase product viability and stabilize member premium. 
  • Responsible for analyses and initiatives relating to revenue projections, claims, provider performance, disease states and product implications. 
  • Responsible for the research, problem identification, and reporting of projects related to a variety of product management activities including those listed above.

Strategic Sourcing Purchasing Specialist, Vendor Contracts -- Ricoh -- Malvern, PA

This position is responsible for managing assigned spend categories across the RAC organization and facilitating sourcing projects from inception till the implementation phase. Primarily responsibilities include spend analysis, market analysis, strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Have a good understanding of functions within Supply Chain, Purchasing, Supplier Diversity and Strategic Sourcing including Procure to Pay.
  • Ability to perform moderate to complex financial analysis of supplier data, organizational spend, project data, assess total cost ownership to identify savings and general sourcing opportunities.
  •  Creates and manages competitive RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, leveraging esourcing technology tools
  • Identify and assess potential opportunities, develop business cases, and present recommendations to various levels of management to build support for the initiative.
  • Identify and develop cost reduction opportunities by collaborating with various business units within Ricoh.
  •  Negotiate with suppliers on a variety of purchase agreements, contracts and special projects to drive favorable contract terms and pricing.
  • Participate in strategic meetings with suppliers and business unit leaders and/or finance to ensure execution of defined strategies and contractual requirements.
  • Develop Strong working relationships with various internal departments and suppliers.
  •  Act as the knowledge expert for given commodity or category of spend in terms of market trends, worldwide supply network and capacity and understanding competitive trends within a specific industry.
  •  Partner and influence internal business partners at the beginning of a project to align strategies and deliverables.
  • Analyze and continuously monitor market and industry data to insure programs remain competitive agreement period.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
  • 3-5 years professional experience in indirect strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, Competitive pricing analysis and/or commodity management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration supply chain management or related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability in managing categories and business relationships to create value and minimize risk.
  • Expert knowledge of sourcing activities including market analysis, RFP development, bid responses, evaluation and contract negotiations.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience utilizing e-commerce applications for sourcing
  • C.P.M.,CSM or CPSM certifications preferred
